Terms of Service
By accessing or using Lumier Pictures ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Lumier Pictures is an AI-assisted film production platform that helps creators write scripts, generate visual content, produce audio, and distribute their work. The Service is provided by Lumier Pictures, Inc.
2. Accounts & Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate registration information.
- One account per person. Do not share account credentials. Separately agreed organization arrangements are governed by their order terms.
3. Plans, Credits & Billing
Current new-purchase offers, introduced September 7, 2026, are listed below. Existing subscriptions and previously granted trials retain their agreed terms unless the member confirms a change. The remainder of these Terms retains its stated effective date.
Prices are monthly in USD before applicable tax. Paid billing starts when you confirm checkout. Subscription credits expire at the end of the billing period; purchased pack credits do not expire. Existing subscriptions keep their agreed billing terms unless the member confirms a change.
New paid memberships include a separate monthly allowance for Gemini scripts and analysis; usage limits apply. Your account shows the remaining allowance. Image, video and audio generation, along with Claude and Director’s Cut scripts, use production credits. The charge depends on the operation, engine, settings and duration. Review the displayed charge before starting. New media takes and AI media revisions use additional credits. Editing saved material remains available. A timeline limit is editing capacity, not a promise of that many generated minutes.
- Director ($49/month): 800 monthly production credits. Up to 1080p video. Commercial use is subject to asset and provider terms.
- Studio ($149/month): 3,000 monthly production credits. Up to 4K stills and 1080p video. Commercial use is subject to asset and provider terms.
- Production ($449/month): 10,000 monthly production credits. Up to 4K stills and 1080p video. Commercial use is subject to asset and provider terms.
- Cinema ($1,299/month): 30,000 monthly production credits. Up to 4K stills and 1080p video. Commercial use is subject to asset and provider terms.
- Booster ($35 once): 500 non-expiring purchased credits. A pack adds generation capacity and does not change membership capabilities.
- Reel Pack ($85 once): 1,500 non-expiring purchased credits. A pack adds generation capacity and does not change membership capabilities.
- Production Pack ($259 once): 5,000 non-expiring purchased credits. A pack adds generation capacity and does not change membership capabilities.
Develop a script and 2K storyboard stills in a one-time guided evaluation with up to 150 introductory credits. No credit card required. Generation limits apply; the allowance does not renew. Video and audio generation require a paid membership. Evaluation access is for personal assessment. This replaces the seven-day offer for new accounts; previously granted trials retain their original allowance and end date. Existing non-expiring purchased credits remain valid.
Purchasing a paid plan starts monthly billing when you confirm payment; it does not start another free evaluation. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on first-time paid subscriptions. Paid memberships permit commercial use subject to the selected model, uploaded materials and asset licenses. You are responsible for the necessary rights and permissions. An account membership does not clear third-party rights.
4. Content & Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all content you create with the Service, meaning scripts, generated images, videos, and audio, subject to the license terms of your plan (personal or commercial). Output produced during free evaluation may not be used for commercial purposes without upgrading; applicable third-party rights and license conditions continue to apply.
AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright registration under current law in some jurisdictions. You are responsible for understanding the IP implications in your territory.
You grant Lumier Pictures, Inc. a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content through AI systems solely for the purpose of delivering the Service. We do not use your content to train our AI models without your explicit consent.
5. Acceptable Use
- Do not use the Service to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or violates third-party rights.
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API beyond your plan's rate limits.
- Do not generate content depicting minors in sexual situations, real people without consent, or content designed to deceive.
- Do not share your account credentials or attempt to circumvent plan limits.
6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." LUMIER PICTURES, INC. MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
7. Changes & Termination
We may update these Terms with 30 days' notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
